S-FIRE, the popular brand under Japan's SEGA Games Co., Ltd. dedicated to producing high-quality character models and merchandise, recently unveiled three new products based on the popular anime and manga "Dandadan" on its official X account: "Momo" and "Aira" pre-painted figures, and a "Turbo Granny Piggy Bank." Reference prices are yet to be announced, with pre-orders opening in February 2025!
"Dandadan" is a shonen manga by Yukinobu Tatsu, serialized in Shueisha's "Shonen Jump+" since 2021, and adapted into a TV anime by Science SARU in 2024. The story follows Momo Ayase, a protagonist who believes in supernatural events but not aliens, and Ken Takakura, a protagonist who believes in aliens but not supernatural events. To prove their beliefs to each other, they venture to designated spooky locations, only to both make astonishing discoveries, embarking on an extraordinary life filled with various occult and supernatural phenomena.
The Momo pre-painted figure features Momo in her classic look, wearing a pink knit sweater paired with a uniform skirt. With her hands raised forward and a determined gaze, she appears ready to unleash her powers at any moment. A cute Turbo Granny with hands on hips is also included in front, making the overall display quite impactful! Aira also sports her iconic uniform, with a playful "scissors hand" pose near her eye and sculpted slender legs showcasing her charm as a popular girl! The Turbo Granny piggy bank depicts her with hands clasped behind her head, seemingly ready for a leisurely nap. Its Maneki-neko (beckoning cat) design makes it quite suitable as a piggy bank!
