Japan's SEGA Games' popular SEGA Prize "Luminasta" series will release two new products based on the popular anime "Bocchi the Rock!" — "Hitori Gotoh" and "Nijika Ijichi", scheduled to be released as crane game prizes in late December 2024 and early January 2025, respectively!
"Bocchi the Rock!" is a four-panel manga series created by Japanese manga artist Aki Hamaji, which was adapted into an anime by CloverWorks and aired in 2022. The story follows the protagonist, "Bocchi" Hitori Gotoh, who constantly practices guitar with the dream of forming a band, but due to social anxiety, she has been unable to achieve it. One day after school, by chance, she meets Nijika Ijichi, who is struggling to find a guitarist for her band, and thus joins "Kessoku Band". Together with bassist Ryo Yamada and Ikuyo Kita, they begin their musical activities, and Bocchi gradually confronts her social anxiety.
Both prize figures in this release stand approximately 20 cm tall and feature Bocchi and Nijika in angelic attire. Bocchi's figure depicts her with one arm raised and her body slightly tilted, appearing somewhat awkward and troubled by her posture; Nijika, on the other hand, strikes a lively pose with both arms spread wide and one leg hooked up! Both designs meticulously recreate the details of their loose-fitting clothing, complete with halos symbolizing angels on their heads, and cable ties on their wrists, representing Kessoku Band. The dynamic flow of their hair also adds to the overall vibrancy! The official channels have also preemptively released product images for Ryo and Ikuyo, making the assembly of these angels highly anticipated!
