The toy manufacturer DAMTOYS, known for producing high-quality action figures and statues, has unveiled a 1/1 scale hyper-realistic bust of the late international superstar "Michael Jackson." The suggested retail price is yet to be announced, with an estimated release in the second quarter of 2025!
Hailed as the "King of Pop," Michael Jackson faced various challenges and setbacks since his debut as a member of the Jackson 5 in 1964, yet he left an indelible mark globally with his exceptional musical talent and influence. Even though Michael has been gone for over 15 years, his music and the various images he left behind continue to impact the world!
This Michael Jackson 1/1 scale hyper-realistic bust captures his appearance during the Dangerous World Tour concert held on October 1, 1992, at the Bucharest National Stadium in Romania. This was two years after the Romanian Revolution, and even though a ticket to Michael's concert cost nearly a month's salary for the average person at the time, nearly 90,000 tickets still sold out. That night, as Michael was catapulted onto the stage, the Bucharest National Stadium instantly erupted, with screams lasting for about two minutes before the concert's first song, "Jam," began.
The 1/1 scale hyper-realistic bust stands approximately 78 cm tall, depicting Michael standing expressionless on stage after his entrance. His facial features are exquisitely recreated using platinum silicone sculpting and molding. The costume is meticulously tailored from special fabric to reproduce the dazzling performance attire from that night, with details such as armbands and straps faithfully replicated! The hair is individually rooted using hair implantation technology, making the overall appearance even more realistic, and accessory details like sunglasses and headsets are also flawlessly executed! The base features the golden "MICHAEL JACKSON" lettering engraved on the front. The incredibly realistic sculpt combined with the life-size scale makes one feel as if they can hear the deafening screams from within the Bucharest National Stadium!
