Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company's HOBBY Division has announced the latest product from the 'HG (High Grade)' robot model kit series, based on the anime "Armored Trooper VOTOMS", the "Scope Dog Expansion Parts Set 6", scheduled for release in April 2025.
The official main AT "ATM-09-ST Scope Dog", developed by the Gilgamesh Army, was the most mass-produced unit during the Hundred Years' War. In the series, besides being piloted by the protagonist Chirico Cuvie, its high versatility also led to various derivative specifications being modified and utilized across different units. This newly released "Scope Dog Expansion Parts Set 6" allows for converting a standard Scope Dog into the "Scope Dog Turbo Custom" which appeared in the OVA anime "Armored Trooper VOTOMS: The Last Red Shoulder".
The kit includes leg parts identical to the "HG Scope Dog Turbo Custom", allowing for the deployment and retraction of the internal jet roller dash units, and featuring an interlocking mechanism for simultaneous armor and roller deployment. Additionally, it includes a handheld rocket launcher, multi-purpose launcher, the gun mounted on Baiman's left arm, and light green and dark green armor parts, enabling a richer variety of customizations for the Scope Dog.
