Following the release of "71374 Nintendo Entertainment System & Retro TV" and "10306 Atari 2600," Danish toy company LEGO early this morning (10th) surprisingly announced they will once again collaborate with Nintendo to create a new product: "LEGO Game Boy"! It is possibly set to go on sale in October 2025.
According to the promotional video currently released by LEGO and the text "Build the classic Nintendo system in LEGO® form. Coming October 2025.", the LEGO version of the Game Boy model is almost certainly confirmed. We can see the characteristic features of Nintendo's first-generation portable handheld console, the Game Boy (ゲームボーイ), released in 1989, including the D-pad and the peach-purple A & B buttons. It's quite exciting! However, LEGO's approach of announcing a new product launch for October in Q4 2025 already at the beginning of 2025 is also quite novel.
