Following the 'Frieren' release, TAITO Corporation (株式会社タイトー), a popular Japanese company, has once again announced a new product for its popular 'Desktop Cute' prize figure series on its official X account: 'Fern' from the popular anime 'Frieren: Beyond Journey's End'!
Fern is a war orphan adopted by Heiter, the priest of Himmel's party. After Heiter's passing, she embarked on a journey with Frieren and Stark to find the souls of Frieren's comrades. Fern possesses a calm demeanor and exceptional magical talent; her casting speed for magic attacks even surpasses that of her master, Frieren. She has demonstrated outstanding performance in examinations and battles against demons, and throughout their journey, she also acts like a caretaker for the clueless Frieren.
This Desktop Cute Fern figure features her in a relaxed, kneeling pose. Her attire includes her usual long skirt and black robe, topped with a coffee-colored shawl. The sculpting meticulously recreates details such as the stitching textures and the fringes along the edges. Her bare feet and the comb she holds in her hand give the overall impression of a cozy, everyday scene. Her flowing long hair, crafted with translucent colored material combined with paintwork, creates a clear and ethereal visual effect under light. Displaying her alongside the previously released Frieren will undoubtedly elevate the charm to an even more enchanting level!
