TAITO Reveals AMP+ "My Dress-Up Darling" Marin Kitagawa (Shizuku Kuroe Bare Face Ver.) Prize Figure – From Wakana Gojo's Dream!

Japanese company TAITO Corporation recently unveiled a new addition to its high-quality AMP+ prize figure series, featuring Marin Kitagawa from the popular anime "My Dress-Up Darling" in her Shizuku Kuroe Bare Face Ver.!

"My Dress-Up Darling" follows protagonist Wakana Gojo, who, influenced by his grandfather, passionately crafts Hina dolls and aspires to become a master doll artisan. His secret hobby is discovered by classmate Marin Kitagawa, who, impressed by his talent, asks him to create costumes for her cosplay passion. Despite his shy and introverted nature, Wakana agrees to her fervent request, thus beginning a relationship filled with blush-inducing moments, shared interests, and dreams!

This prize figure's design is inspired by the opening scene of the anime's third episode, where Wakana Gojo dreams of Marin Kitagawa looking "strange" after donning the Shizuku Kuroe costume from "Slippery Girls 2" that he made for her. The figure captures Marin seated sideways on a faux leather sofa base, faithfully recreating the Gothic Lolita-style outfit's intricate design and folds. Exquisite sculpting highlights the detailed rose patterns on her slender legs, adorned with patterned stockings. Freely dangling chains on her chest and hair rendered with translucent materials and paintwork add a dynamic flair to the overall presentation. Wakana's design sketches are also placed on the side of the base. Marin's signature mischievous smirk significantly enhances the powerful charm of this fleeting, dream-sequence-exclusive appearance!
