BANDAI SPIRITS' collector's toy division TAMASHII NATIONS, under its "PROPLICA" series known for high-quality reproductions of various anime props, has officially unveiled a new product based on the popular anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" – the "Nichirin Blade (Tanjiro Kamado) Kyojuro Rengoku's Tsuba Ver." It has a suggested retail price of 19,800 JPY and is scheduled for release in July 2025!
After Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku tragically lost his life in the battle against Akaza during the "Mugen Train Arc," Tanjiro visited the Rengoku family to convey his elder brother's last words. There, Kyojuro's younger brother, Senjuro Rengoku, gave Tanjiro his brother's Nichirin Blade tsuba, hoping it would serve as a protective charm for Tanjiro's safety.
This "Nichirin Blade (Tanjiro Kamado) Kyojuro Rengoku's Tsuba Ver." features a blade body approximately 88 cm long. It is a 1:1 scale three-dimensional rendition of Tanjiro's new Nichirin Blade, now equipped with the flame-shaped tsuba, crafted from composite materials such as plastic and alloy. It meticulously recreates the patterns on the blade and the "滅" (Destroy) kanji engraving details. Furthermore, it includes battle music from the "Infinity Castle Arc" and sound effects like Hinokami Kagura. It also comes with a corresponding scabbard and a dedicated display stand, making it excellent for both hands-on enjoyment and display as a collectible!
