The highly popular character plastic model kit series "Figure-rise Standard", released by Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS HOBBY Division, has announced its latest product, "Amate Yuzuriha (Machu)", from the newest anime series in the Gundam franchise, "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX", scheduled for release in June 2025.
The protagonist of "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX", Amate Yuzuriha, is a high school girl living a peaceful daily life in a space colony. Feeling a sense of unreality, she one day encounters the war refugee girl Nean, accidentally becoming the pilot of the mysterious mobile suit "GQuuuuuuX", and is drawn into the illegal MS dueling competition "Battle Group Showdown". From then on, Yuzuriha adopts the alias "Machu" and dedicates herself to intense daily battles.
"Figure-rise Standard Amate Yuzuriha (Machu)" is produced utilizing Bandai's most advanced color separation and part division technology, employing multiple molded color parts to recreate Machu's slender physique and uniform design. Even the blue highlight sections on her hair are rendered with separate parts, largely restoring her in-series appearance. Among the currently revealed accessories, one can also see a backpack with Char-like coloring, a cute squirrel character "Lieutenant" charm, and a knitted hat Haro voiced by Rie Kugimiya, among other rich content.
