The popular alloy action figure "RIOBOT" series, produced by model manufacturer Sentinel, has announced its latest product from "Super Robot Wars OG", the "G Compatible Kaiser & Fighter Roar Set", scheduled for release in July 2025. This product will be sold exclusively through official designated channels such as "SENTINEL STORE".
In the settings of the "Super Robot Wars OG" series, the Compatible Kaiser was originally a heavily damaged special humanoid mobile weapon, which Kouta Azuma's grandfather spent 20 years to repair. Since most existing parts were unusable, repairs were made using DGG technology, similar to that of Grungust, Aussenseiter, and other units. However, only an awakened individual chosen by Fighter Roar could activate this unit, so it remained idle in the BF Base for a long time, until Kouta Azuma became the reborn Fighter Roar.
Although the Compatible Kaiser, driven by the OG (Over Gate) Engine, can use powerful armaments such as the Hyper Dimension Beam, Kaiser Boomerang, and Kaiser Burst, its actual output power is only half of its original capacity. It requires combining with the "G Thunder Gate" to become the G Compatible Kaiser for significant enhancement. After combining, not only is its mobility strengthened by the G Thunder Gate's large wing thrusters, but new armaments such as the "Shoulder Cannon" and the powerful special move "Hyper Dimension Kaiser Sword" are also added.
The "RIOBOT G Compatible Kaiser & Fighter Roar Set" is a luxurious set that includes the Compatible Kaiser, G Thunder Gate, and a Fighter Roar mini-figure. Both units are modified from previously released standard versions, with prototype production handled by Takao Kinoshita, the sculptor responsible for products such as "RIOBOT Grungust". Former "Super Robot Wars" series producer Takanobu Terada and the unit's designer Masami Obari provided thorough supervision.
Both units feature armor styling that emphasizes undulating curves, a powerful and cool physique, and an alloy movable frame that provides firm joints and a substantial feel when handled. After combining, the "G Compatible Kaiser" can be recreated at a height of approximately 34.5 cm. With the built-in light-up mechanism in the chest and various weapon accessories, multiple moves such as "Hyper Dimension Kaiser Sword", "Shoulder Cannon", "Kaiser Boomerang", and "Kaiser Burst" can be posed.
This limited edition features polished metallic red, pearl white, and gunmetal gray paintwork, while the gold parts are electroplated, presenting an ultra-luxurious metallic texture distinct from the standard version.
The completely new "Fighter Roar mini-figure", though only 3.6 cm tall, features painted details including the blue head, gold armor, and skin tone of the face. Approximately 10 points of articulation are present in the head, waist, and limbs for posing. Accessories include a display stand and a battle flyer for Fighter Roar to ride.
