SEGA Prize, a brand under Japan's SEGA Games Co., Ltd., will release a new product in its "Chokonose Premium" series based on the popular anime "Dandadan" – the "Momo Ayase Vol.2" sitting figure. It is scheduled to be released as a prize item on March 14, 2025!
"Dandadan" is a shonen manga by Japanese artist Yukinobu Tatsu, serialized in Shueisha's "Shonen Jump+" since 2021, and adapted into a TV anime by Science SARU in 2024. The story follows Momo Ayase, a protagonist who firmly believes in supernatural events but not aliens, and Ken Takakura, a male protagonist who believes in aliens but not supernatural events. To prove their beliefs to each other, they venture to designated spooky locations, unexpectedly embarking on an extraordinary life filled with various occult and supernatural phenomena.
Following the release of the previous "Momo Ayase Vol.1" featuring her iconic pink knit uniform, this Chokonose Premium Momo Ayase Vol.2 figure, standing approximately 8 cm tall, adopts the gyaru outfit worn by Momo at the end of episode 3 of the anime, after she removes the protective suit her grandmother insisted she wear on the train. The sculpting meticulously recreates her fair, long legs clad in black stockings and the alluring curves enveloped by her one-piece sweater. Details such as the jacket's wrinkles and the sneakers' design are also exquisitely reproduced, showcasing a sense of fashion distinct from her uniform look!
