"The tentacled demon 'Obzaba' from the ocean will be dealt with by me, the ship-ninja Takao!"
Good Smile Arts Shanghai (GSAS), established in China by Japan's Good Smile Company, officially announced yesterday (the 4th) their latest product from the popular naval battle mobile game "Azur Lane": the "Takao Exorcising Ship Technique - Divine Protection -" (破マ艦術-神護-) 1/7 scale figure! Shipping is expected to begin in December 2025, with a suggested retail price of 22,700 JPY.
Takao (たかお), in the game settings of "Azur Lane," is an SSR-class heavy cruiser belonging to the Sakura Empire faction, and is the elder sister of Atago, also a Sakura Empire heavy cruiser. Her prototype is the lead ship of the Takao-class heavy cruisers of the former Imperial Japanese Navy, the IJN Takao. Her default in-game illustration depicts her as a beautiful, large-breasted girl wearing a form-fitting white military uniform, black sheer pantyhose, and carrying a katana; although her personality is slightly serious, her appearance is absolutely stunning! I believe all you Commanders have dedicated quite a few "Red Gems" (紅尖尖) for this pair of sisters, Takao and Atago.
This sculpted rendition of Takao is based on her alternate outfit "Exorcising Ship Technique - Divine Protection -," recreating Takao in a powerful high-kneeling pose as a ship-ninja, standing at a height of 16.5 cm! Her ninja-style attire, combining stockings and armor, is truly a masterpiece; it features generous cutouts at the chest and back, while her hips and thighs are encased in stockings, making her incredibly sexy from any angle! Coupled with her highly impactful katana, she exudes Takao's usual dashing demeanor. The dynamically flowing long hair and the lightning effect on her right hand and sword hilt further enhance the figure's dynamism.
▼ Key point! This figure also includes interchangeable chest parts in a heavily damaged (clothing torn) state. They're too good at this!
