BANDAI SPIRITS' prize figure brand BANPRESTO has announced its latest product from the popular anime Frieren: Beyond Journey's End: the "Chin-Resting Bust - Frieren," scheduled for release in February 2025.
The Japanese manga Frieren: Beyond Journey's End (葬送のフリーレン), originally written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe, tells the story of Frieren, an elven mage, who returns as a hero after a decade-long adventure with the human hero Himmel, the dwarven warrior Eisen, and the human priest Heiter. Frieren, who can live for a thousand years without aging, perceives the passage of time differently from mortals. After experiencing the deaths and aging of her companions, she regrets not having truly understood others. Frieren then embarks on a new journey to experience the meaning of life and time.
The BANPRESTO prize figure "Chin-Resting Bust - Frieren" presents a bust-style sculpt with a substantial height of approximately 12 cm. Her pose, gently caressing her chin, is incredibly elegant, complemented by a faint smile on her face, exuding a charming and intelligent aura! The golden trim of her white cape is finished with metallic paint, and her light purplish-blue twin-tailed hair and distinctive pointed elf ears are meticulously sculpted. The background features a simple light blue back panel, allowing it to be displayed as a bookend or against a wall, showcasing a different aesthetic!
