Japan's TAKARA TOMY company's toy brand T-ARTS will release a new product based on the popular anime "Jujutsu Kaisen" – the "Defo Fig! Jujutsu Kaisen Mini Figure Hidden Inventory / Premature Death Keychain" Gashapon. The suggested retail price is 400 JPY per capsule, with an anticipated release in mid-February 2025!
The "Hidden Inventory / Premature Death" arc at the beginning of the second season of the "Jujutsu Kaisen" anime depicts Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto during their time at Tokyo Jujutsu High, where they were assigned the mission to escort the "Star Plasma Vessel." After the mission, Geto's belief in protecting non-sorcerers wavered, leading him to desire a world with only sorcerers and no curses. These conflicting ideals set the strongest sorcerer duo on different paths.
The "Defo Fig! Jujutsu Kaisen Mini Figure" series is a three-dimensional rendition of T-ARTS' previous "Jujutsu Kaisen Defo Rubba!" (でふぉラバ！) flat rubber charm Gashapon series. This time, the four characters from the "Hidden Inventory / Premature Death" arc at the beginning of the anime's second season – Satoru Gojo, Suguru Geto, Shoko Ieiri, and Toji Fushiguro – are produced as approximately 5 cm tall character figures. Their designs and costume details are faithfully recreated in a two-head-tall chibi proportion, creating dynamic levitating poses that match each character's personality. Each figure comes with a ball chain, allowing collectors to display them on their bags. Every single one is incredibly cute!
