I've always wanted to get my hands on the ROBOT魂 KA signature Dijeh. Unfortunately, I missed out on the first green version, and then the purple one too. So, when the Amuro color scheme was released, I finally got my wish and successfully acquired it.
Since this is my first time handling it, I'm treating it as a brand new mobile suit from start to finish. It's truly quite moving!
The characteristic of KA signature mobile suits is that they are "stunning" but not highly poseable (the main selling point isn't articulation). This toy is no different. So, when it comes to discussing articulation, there isn't much to say; as long as it can strike a few poses, I believe that's more than sufficient.
As for other aspects, there are still plenty of playable features.
For instance, the left shoulder can mount a rifle weapon, or an auxiliary arm for the mega particle cannon. Having them slung over the shoulder certainly looks dashing.
However, attaching the mechanical arm was quite cumbersome, so I didn't spend much time playing with that feature. Instead, simply holding the weapons directly felt more straightforward and engaging!
When playing with KA signature figures, one always appreciates the exquisite paint application and design, and this time is no exception. It's fully painted, and the Amuro-specific orange color scheme is incredibly striking. The markings are all very clear and worth examining closely.
Regarding weapons, it includes two shotguns, two beam rifles, and a mega particle cannon. The play possibilities are quite varied. However, it's a shame that the effect parts from the ANIME series aren't compatible, otherwise, it would be even more fun.
Due to limited articulation, the range of motion for poses is restricted, making it difficult to achieve overly dynamic actions, which is a bit of a pity. Furthermore, since the entire body is painted, minor damage during play is inevitable. Players need to accept this and be mentally prepared; otherwise, it's best not to handle it extensively.
Additionally, it can be fitted with the Zeta face mask, as shown below:
Finally, it's photo op time:
Finally, arranging some of the mobile suits piloted by Amuro together feels quite satisfying. Without realizing it, so many models have been released, and I still haven't completed all the variations. Collecting them over the years has certainly yielded some results. Of course, it's not "fully complete" yet; some key mobile suits, though acquired, aren't displayed due to space limitations.
Overall, if you're a fan of KA signature toys and appreciate the Amuro color scheme, this mobile suit is definitely worth adding to your collection.
