Japan's Bandai SPIRITS company's immensely popular "Ichiban Kuji" (lottery prize) series will launch a new Godzilla-themed product – "Godzilla: Great Monster Lineup G". The reference price is 900 JPY per draw, and it is scheduled to launch in late June 2025!
Following the 2023 release of "Godzilla: Great Monster Lineup", which featured Burning Godzilla, this "Godzilla: Great Monster Lineup G" once again centers on soft vinyl toys crafted by the popular monster sculptor, Yuji Sakai. It offers prizes from A to G, a Last One Prize, and a Double Chance Prize. The A-Prize, "Godzilla (1991) Abashiri Fierce Battle" soft vinyl figure, which has been revealed first, utilizes a prototype created by Sakai-sensei during his nine-hour "Godzilla Festival ONLINE Yuji Sakai Sculpting LIVE" broadcast in 2020. At a size of 23 cm, it faithfully recreates Godzilla's imposing appearance from the film "Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah", depicting its landing in Hokkaido and fierce battle with King Ghidorah!
The Last One Prize and Double Chance Prize are the Radioactive Heat Ray versions of the A-Prize, featuring bright blue paint on the dorsal fins and Godzilla's gaping maw, recreating its posture as it accumulates energy, ready to unleash its atomic breath! Collectors who missed out on the X-Plus Toho 30cm series version should definitely seize this opportunity!
The B-Prize is the "Mothra (1992) Larva" soft vinyl figure from the 1992 film "Godzilla vs. Mothra". Also supervised by Sakai-sensei, it meticulously sculpts the delicate details on Mothra's larva body and uses spray painting to handle the color details, vividly recreating its on-screen appearance!
The C-Prize features models of Godzillasaurus and three Dorats, encountered on Lagos Island after traveling back in time in "Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah". The Godzillasaurus figure stands approximately 15 cm tall, exquisitely reproducing biological skin textures and other details; the three Dorats, approximately 2 cm tall, are painted in a single metallic gold color, recreating their seemingly harmless and cute appearance from the film!
Prizes D through G are a logo sticker, ACLLECT series acrylic standees, scene image charm collection, and popular monster head magnets, respectively. Detailed prize information will be announced later, but the existing information alone is enough to make one eager to start drawing!
