US toy giant Mattel officially announced early this morning (the 8th) the new "Cartoon Collection" 5.5-inch action figure for "Masters of the Universe": "Invisible Skeletor"! It is expected to be released starting May 2025, with a suggested retail price of US$19.99.
The Cartoon Collection action figures are highlighted by their "restoration of character appearances from the original animated series" and are produced in the nostalgic 5.5-inch scale. This release features the classic "Masters of the Universe" villain, Skeletor, specifically designed as Invisible Skeletor with a transparent visual effect, based on the storyline from the episode "Disappearing Act"! It also includes classic in-show props: the magic helmet that grants invisibility when worn, and Orko's cape. The translucent material used to match the storyline, combined with the retro physique and robust musculature of the 5.5-inch action figure, makes this an absolutely collectible Skeletor!
▼ In addition to Invisible Skeletor, this Cartoon Collection also includes Buzz-Off and Frosta.
