GSC 'Delicious in Dungeon' Walking Mushroom / Falin (Chimera) / Izutsumi Plush Toys, the Walking Mushroom Becomes a Large-Sized Plushie!

Japanese brand GOOD SMILE COMPANY is launching three new products under its large-sized and standard plush toy series, themed after the popular anime "Delicious in Dungeon"—"Walking Mushroom," "Falin (Chimera)," and "Izutsumi," with an anticipated release in July 2025!

"Delicious in Dungeon" is an original work by manga artist Ryoko Kui, adapted into a TV anime by animation studio TRIGGER. The story follows protagonist Laios and his party after they are wiped out on the lowest level of the dungeon. To rescue his sister, who was swallowed by a red dragon, and to reduce travel costs, they hunt monsters in the dungeon, turning them into delicious meals as they venture deeper. The combination of gourmet food and adventure has garnered widespread fan adoration. A major highlight of this work is the conflicting feeling of sudden realization mixed with a sense of unease after each dish is introduced!

"Walking Mushroom" (歩き茸) was the first monster Laios's party decided to have for lunch, cooked into a large scorpion and Walking Mushroom hotpot. According to Senshi, the legs are quite delicious! This large-sized Walking Mushroom plush doll is priced at 5,500 JPY. At 40 cm, it's meticulously sewn to recreate its appearance from the series, and displaying it alongside the previously released standard-sized version makes for an incredibly adorable sight!

Also released in the standard-sized plush toy series are Falin's Chimera form and Izutsumi, with reference prices of 5,500 JPY and 4,400 JPY respectively. Both characters are crafted with fabric to capture their in-series appearances in an adorable two-head-tall proportion. Notably, Falin's plush features details such as wings and the chimera's dragon posterior. At approximately 17 cm, they are super cute whether held or displayed!
