Following the popular "Luminasta" series from SEGA Prize, a division of Japan's SEGA Games, which previously featured "Hitori Gotoh / Nijika Ijichi," two new merchandise items based on the popular anime "Bocchi the Rock!" are once again being released: "Ryo Yamada" and "Ikuyo Kita." These are scheduled to be released as prize items in late February and late March 2025, respectively!
"Bocchi the Rock!" is a four-panel manga series created by Japanese manga artist Aki Hamaji, which was adapted into an anime by CloverWorks and aired in 2022. The story follows the protagonist, "Bocchi" Hitori Gotoh, who constantly practices guitar with the dream of forming a band. However, due to her social anxiety, she has been unable to achieve this. One day after school, by chance, she met Nijika Ijichi, who was looking for a guitarist for her band. This led to Bocchi joining the "Kessoku Band." Together with bassist Ryo Yamada and Ikuyo Kita, they began their musical activities, and Bocchi also gradually confronted her social anxiety.
Both of these prize figures stand approximately 19 cm tall, depicting Ryo and Kita in angelic outfits. Ryo's white attire features a pant-style design, showcasing her cool personality, while Kita's skirt has carved patterns on the side. Both figures capture dynamic poses that perfectly match their personalities! They also both have cable ties on their wrists, symbolizing the Kessoku Band (結束バンド). They can be displayed alongside the previously released Bocchi and Nijika figures. With such cuteness, it's definitely a must-have complete set!
