Japanese toy manufacturer BRIGHT LINK (株式会社ブライトリンク) is set to release a hilariously absurd new capsule toy in May 2025: the "Side Mirror Hair Clip" (サイドミラーヘアクリップ)! Priced at 300 JPY per play, there are 8 different styles to collect.
Boasting the groundbreaking concept of "From today, you are also a car," this bizarre "Side Mirror Hair Clip" is arguably a highly practical (?) accessory, especially when paired with ring-style capsule toys. Simply clip these side mirror hair clips to both sides of your head, and you can instantly transform into a vehicle! BRIGHT LINK is offering both streamlined sports car-style mirrors (red/purple) and rounder, standard car-style mirrors (pink/bright blue) in this release. Beyond accurately recreating the designs in a 4.5 cm size, they also feature a rotatable mechanism, allowing them to fold in and out just like real car mirrors – a surprisingly meticulous detail. However, each capsule only contains one mirror, not a pair, which feels a bit cheeky!
