LEGO IDEAS "Build from the Heart" Building Contest Results Announced! "Love Birds" Confirmed for Commercialization

Just before the upcoming Valentine's Day, the Danish toy company LEGO's LEGO IDEAS announced the final results of its earlier building contest, "Build from the Heart." The creation "Love Birds" by LEGO fan Modular Maniac won the grand prize! This creation is also confirmed for commercialization after modifications.

The brick-built model "Love Birds" created by Modular Maniac uses a total of 411 pieces to create two pink birds standing closely together on a branch, looking very much in love. The tree they are perched on also happens to be blooming with pink, purple, and white flowers, creating an overall soft pink visual effect that is perfect for Valentine's Day.

The forms of the two birds are exceptionally well-sculpted, delicately outlined using various flat and curved pieces, and even incorporating Technic elements for the wings. The tree trunk also fully demonstrates Modular Maniac's design prowess, utilizing a rich variety of pieces within a unified color palette to build up excellent layering and branch lines. We look forward to the official product's future release.
