The popular mecha girl-themed plastic model kit series, "Megami Device," released by Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya, today announced that its latest product, "PUNI☆MOFU Wolf," is scheduled for release in July 2025.
The new character, "PUNI☆MOFU Wolf," is also designed by Japanese illustrator BLADE. Compared to the previous two releases, Cat and Rabbit, which utilized the petite and articulated "Block2-S" body, this time, to match the relatively larger "Wolf" image, it features the standard "Block2-M" body. However, it still boasts a dreamy color design, combining the wolf-themed armor with both cuteness and sexiness.
In terms of machine specifications, the PUNI☆MOFU series' third machine, "Wolf," is the first in the series to be equipped with ranged weapons. Its two handguns function as both large-caliber bullet shooters and Gatling guns. When all rounds are fired simultaneously, the roar is like a wolf's howl, hence the two weapons are named "Roaring PM5." However, this machine is not equipped with close-quarters combat armaments, requiring it to maintain an appropriate distance from enemy machines during deployment.
"Megami Device PUNI☆MOFU Wolf" utilizes the "Block2-M" body designed by sculptor Masaki Apsy. It features newly sculpted head, chest, and large twin guns to faithfully recreate BLADE's sexy yet cute design. It also includes three pre-painted face parts, and the included decals can be used to reproduce the cute wolf emblem on the legs and some parts' colors.
In addition to transforming from the sexy and cute "Body Mode" to the cool "Armed Mode," its playability can be expanded through its universal 3mm connection points and interchangeable assembly methods. For instance, the two "Roaring PM5" weapons can be linked to form a long-handled weapon, or the Gatling gun sections can be attached to both hands. It can also be customized using separately sold "PUNI☆MOFU" series machines.
