Bandai's GASHAPON capsule toy division will release a new product based on the popular anime "SAKAMOTO DAYS" – the "SAKAMOTO DAYS Character Figure Collection" Gashapon. The suggested retail price is 500 JPY per turn, and it is scheduled to be released in the fifth week of March 2025!
"SAKAMOTO DAYS" is a work by manga artist Yuto Suzuki, serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" starting in 2020. In January 2025, it was adapted into a TV anime by TMS Entertainment. It tells the story of Taro Sakamoto, once the strongest assassin, who, after retiring, getting married, having children, and becoming an overweight middle-aged man, is targeted by his former assassin organization. He then teams up with his junior, Shin, who came to persuade him, to fight against the assassin organization.
This "SAKAMOTO DAYS Character Figure Collection" Gashapon features several popular characters from the series as approximately 5cm tall figures. The collection includes five types: Taro Sakamoto, Shin Asakura, Nagumo, Kamihate, and Osaragi. Sculpted in an approximately two-head-tall proportion, the figures faithfully recreate the characters' design details and feature dynamic poses. Each figure also comes with its own dedicated stand, making them super cute when displayed all together!
