Xiao Le is Back! LEGO® Collaborates with Kaohsiung City Government for the First Time to Create the "LEGO Kaohsiung" Children's Day Event, Featuring a 6-Meter-Tall Giant Surfing Xiao Le Amidst Harbor City Scenery, Riding the Waves to Unleash a Wave of Playfulness

Last October, the toy brand LEGO® Taiwan set up a giant umbrella-holding LEGO figure at the National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts (Weiwuying), inviting children and adults to unleash their creativity and have fun with Xiao Le! At the time, both the eye-catching giant Xiao Le and the multiple creative experience stations garnered significant public response and discussion. This Children's Day, LEGO Taiwan is collaborating with the Kaohsiung City Government, and Xiao Le will return to the National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts (Weiwuying) in a brand-new surfing form for "LEGO Kaohsiung," inviting the public to enjoy a wave of fun during the Children's Day long weekend.

During the event, visitors can collaboratively build creative designs on the "LEGO Kaohsiung Wall"; become LEGO racers together at "Playful Start"; participate in "LEGO Kaohsiung Graffiti"; and join LEGO® Certified Professional Master Huang Yen-Chih, who designed a giant "LEGO Kaohsiung" artwork for LEGO Children's Day, ready for collective creation with children and adults. There will also be various photo opportunities and interactive check-in spots, offering a chance to win gashapon prizes featuring exclusive LEGO Kaohsiung gifts. LEGO Taiwan and the Kaohsiung City Government look forward to celebrating "LEGO Kaohsiung" with everyone, adding more imagination to play this Children's Day.

When Playful Kaohsiung Meets Play-Savvy LEGO®: Celebrate Children's Day with Surfing Xiao Le at "LEGO Kaohsiung"
Play is everyone's innate superpower. LEGO has always encouraged children and adults to use their creativity to solve life's challenges, showcasing diverse and limitless creative expressions, and creating infinite possibilities through LEGO. In recent years, Kaohsiung has integrated festivals and themed events with "digitalization, thematic focus, and segmentation," inviting the public to visit and enjoy the city. This Children's Day long weekend, LEGO Taiwan is collaborating with the Kaohsiung City Government for the first time. An enlarged version of Xiao Le will return to Kaohsiung in a cool surfing pose, celebrating "LEGO Kaohsiung" with the public! Surfing Xiao Le stands on waves symbolizing Kaohsiung's unique harbor city characteristics, exuding joy and vitality, leading everyone to unleash their playful spirit and create endless possibilities!

Multiple Stations and Check-in Activities: Giant Surfing LEGO Figure Accompanies Children and Adults for a Wave of Fun
LEGO Taiwan and the Kaohsiung City Government will debut the "LEGO Kaohsiung" experience event from April 3 to April 6, 2025, at the South Plaza of the National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts (Weiwuying). In addition to the giant surfing LEGO minifigure, three major stations are planned: the "LEGO Kaohsiung Wall," where the public can collaboratively build creative designs with bricks; "Playful Start," inviting everyone to become LEGO racers; and "LEGO Kaohsiung Graffiti," where children from designated schools are invited to color Xiao Le at various Kaohsiung landmarks, with a chance to redeem limited-edition gifts by bringing their colored papers to the event. Furthermore, there's a gashapon activity for those who take photos and check in with Xiao Le at the event site – let's find out where Xiao Le is!

In addition, the Kaohsiung City Government stated that this collaboration with LEGO Taiwan, besides hosting the "LEGO Kaohsiung" Children's Day event at the South Plaza of the National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts (Weiwuying), also involved inviting LEGO® Certified Professional Master Huang Yen-Chih to create a giant collaborative "LEGO Kaohsiung" artwork. From March 17 to March 25, workshops were also held at 12 rural schools, allowing 600 students to collaboratively create artwork with bricks. The final 96 completed panels will be exhibited from April 3 to April 6 at the National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts (Weiwuying). The city government will also host surrounding market activities, theater performances, singing and dancing shows, outdoor movie screenings, inflatable playgrounds, and more.
