There are three variations, with a suggested retail price of 1,500 JPY per capsule, scheduled for release in late June 2025.
The iconic character "Ludens" of the renowned game development studio "Kojima Productions" derives its name from the Dutch scholar Johan Huizinga's 1938 work "Homo Ludens." Its design features an astronaut wearing a skull-shaped mask and a heavy mechanical Extravehicular Activity (EVA) suit, symbolizing the creation of a new future and bringing novel gaming experiences through cutting-edge equipment, advanced technology, and pioneering spirit.

The "AIP LUDENS -DELUX EDITION-" gashapon features three color variations: classic WHITE, sophisticated BROWN, and transparent CLEAR GREEN. In a palm-sized form of only about 8 cm, it exquisitely recreates Ludens' complex astronaut-like technological equipment, with meticulous detailing on straps, tubing, and metallic parts. The mask is also made of transparent material, allowing a subtle glimpse of the skull face inside! He also holds a flag emblazoned with the Kojima Productions logo, making it truly a collectible item~
