From Japanese model manufacturer Max Factory's popular articulated figure series 'figma', the latest product, "figma Chilchuck", based on the super popular anime 'Dungeon Meshi', had its color prototype unveiled early at the [AnimeJapan 2025] event, which began on March 22nd!
The male halfling, Chilchuck, possesses a cute and petite appearance. He excels at disarming traps and lock-picking, and his nimble physique allows him to avoid triggering certain ground traps, making him responsible for trap detection within the party. His sharp-tongued retorts are also well-known within the group, making him virtually unbeatable in verbal sparring. Although he often speaks of monetary gain, he genuinely cares for his companions and offers advice and assistance as an elder.
The "figma Chilchuck" articulated figure faithfully recreates his signature look from the anime, accurately capturing his round, large ears, cute, youthful appearance, and slender, short stature. From the officially released product images, accessories include lock-picking tools, gold coins (or treasure bugs?), and a treasure chest (or mimic?) that casts a shadow over Chilchuck. However, only one smiling face part has been revealed so far; we eagerly anticipate more expressive, sarcastic alternate faces!
