Mechagodzilla's debut film, "Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla" (ゴジラ対メカゴジラ), released in 1974, tells the story of the Third Planet Aliens, desperate to invade Earth from their dying planet, who created the heavy mechanical weapon "Mechagodzilla" in Godzilla's image. In the film's climax, it was defeated by Godzilla, who teamed up with King Caesar.
