BANPRESTO, a prize brand under Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company, announced the official launch of its new product, the "Infinite Justice Gundam Type-II Head Speaker," from the theatrical anime film "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM," on April 15, 2025.
The ZGMF-X191M2 Infinite Justice Gundam Type-II, piloted by Athrun Zala, is a new mobile suit improved from its predecessor, the "Infinite Justice Gundam," using the latest technology from Morgenroete. It features an all-around cockpit, VPS armor, and significant aesthetic updates to its armor details. A large beam horn is added to its head for surprise attacks. Its back is also replaced with the new "M2X32E VOLANTES" propulsion backpack, gaining ultra-high-speed combat capabilities through its new foldable wings. The leading edges of all four wings can also deploy beam blades. However, because the nuclear power engine used by this unit violates the Junius Treaty, it must usually operate discreetly, disguised as a Z'Gok.
This product transforms the "Infinite Justice Gundam Type-II" into a head-shaped speaker with a total height of approximately 18 cm. The overall design uses sharp plastic parts to recreate the head's intricate details and cool silhouette. It faithfully reproduces the "large beam horn" weapon mounted on its head, making it significantly larger than the 11 cm tall "Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam" and "Destiny Gundam Spec II Head Speakers". The internal speaker is revealed when the armor on both sides of the head is opened. After inserting two AAA batteries, music can be played via the USB Type-C (male) to 3.5mm (male) connector on the base.
