The popular alloy action figure "RIOBOT" series, launched by Japanese model maker Sentinel, has announced that a new unit from "Super Robot Wars OG", "Raioh", is currently under development, and has also released a sneak peek of the product's development prototype.

Raioh, in its debut work "3rd Super Robot Wars Alpha: To the End of the Galaxy", served as the early-game unit for the Super Robot protagonist. It was initially developed as the third unit in the "DGG" series, following Choujin-shin and Aussenseiter. The entire machine utilizes artificial muscle materials to achieve extraordinary mobility, excelling in various martial arts and powerful kicks. It is also equipped with the "LIOH System", which can learn the pilot's characteristics and unleash their potential. However, this system had a flaw: a lack of safety mechanisms. In "Termination Mode", it would drive the pilot to death like a berserker, leading to its temporary deactivation. This issue was only resolved later by adopting the same "DML System" as Choujin-shin.

From the development prototype of "RIOBOT Raioh", it can be seen that the styling continues the "Special Machine" aesthetic recently released by Sentinel. It boasts an imposing size, slightly smaller than "RIOBOT Choujin-shin", with robust, muscular armor lines sculpted across its body and a cool, battle-damaged cape. The entire unit features flexible articulated joint designs, and parts of its structure, such as the feet, have been reinterpreted for enhanced poseability, allowing for its signature agile kicks.
