BANDAI SPIRITS' collector toy division, TAMASHII NATIONS, has once again unveiled a new product in its S.H.Figuarts "Shinkocchou Seihou" series, featuring a Showa-era Kamen Rider theme: the "Kamen Rider Stronger" action figure. It will retail for 9,900 JPY and is scheduled for release in October 2025!
Premiering in 1975, "Kamen Rider Stronger" is the fifth installment in the Kamen Rider series. It tells the story of Shigeru Jo, a young man who, seeking revenge for his friend's death after being captured and modified by the evil organization Black Satan (ブラックサタン), undergoes Black Satan's cyborg modification surgery himself. He successfully escapes before his indoctrination, transforming into Kamen Rider Stronger to fight against the organization.
This Kamen Rider Stronger figure stands approximately 14.5 cm tall. Utilizing the Shinkocchou Seihou method, which sculpts from the skeletal structure outwards, it faithfully recreates Kamen Rider Stronger's iconic appearance from the show. The "S" emblem on his chest and the intricate details of his belt are meticulously reproduced. His scarf is crafted from fabric, and every detail, from the slightly irregular armor and the perforated compound eyes to the texture of his leather suit, exudes the full charm of the Showa era! The accessory parts include 7 sets of interchangeable hands, allowing for a wide range of dynamic combat poses with its flexible articulation!
With the release of Stronger, the glorious seven Shinkocchou Seihou Riders are officially assembled! Displaying them all lined up is truly magnificent!
