Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS' action figure brand S.H.Figuarts, following "Momo Ayase", has once again unveiled a new product based on the popular anime and manga "Dandadan" – the "Okarun" action figure. The suggested retail price is 9,350 JPY, with an estimated release in September 2025!
The male protagonist, Ken Takakura, went alone to a famous haunted tunnel after a bet with Momo. Unexpectedly, he was cursed by the yokai "Turbo Granny" lurking in the tunnel, who stole his testicles. After successfully repelling Granny, he made a deal with her to continue using her abilities. Momo, displeased that Takakura shared a name with her favorite idol and because Takakura liked occult things, always called him "Okarun".
This Okarun figure stands approximately 14 cm tall and features his alien otaku appearance before transformation. It faithfully recreates his hair after it was electrocuted and curled by the barrier set by Momo's grandmother in the second episode of the anime. Details such as the wrinkles on his uniform and the curly hair on his head are sculpted, and the glasses are made from a translucent material. With flexible articulation, you can recreate his usual hunched posture or dynamic poses of him frantically running when being chased!
Accessories include 3 left and 4 right interchangeable hand parts, 3 interchangeable face parts, and a Turbo Granny figure resting on her side. These can be combined with the previously released transformed state for alternating play, or displayed with Momo to recreate sweet scenes of boys loving girls from the series!
