Japanese model manufacturer GOOD SMILE COMPANY's mechanical-themed brand MECHA SMILE has officially announced that the latest product in its completed combination toy series "THE GATTAI", "Pegasus Saber" from "The Brave Fighter of Legend Da-Garn", is scheduled for release in April 2026.
The Brave Team, appearing in "The Brave Fighter of Legend Da-Garn", was originally composed of Jet Saber, Jumbo Saber, and Shuttle Saber. Possessing flight capabilities, they excel in aerial combat and can combine into the large Brave Robot "Sky Saber". With the awakening of the ancient Sky Brave, Hawk Saber, the Brave Team gains even greater power. He can further combine with Sky Saber to form the centaur-shaped "Pegasus Saber".
The "THE GATTAI Pegasus Saber" product will include all four complete members of the Sky Brave Team: Jet Saber, Jumbo Saber, Shuttle Saber, and Hawk Saber. Not only do they feature sculpts and rich colors faithful to their anime appearances, but they also boast flexible articulation and precise full transformation mechanisms. Each can transform from fighter jet / hawk mode into robot mode and comes with dedicated weapons such as the Jet Saber Sword, Jumbo Saber Bow, and Shuttle Saber Gun for equipping.
The three units, Jet Saber, Jumbo Saber, and Shuttle Saber, can fully transform and combine without leaving any leftover parts into the 25 cm tall "Sky Saber". It boasts both a cool body proportion and flexible articulated joints. The three units' original dedicated armaments can even combine into the "Holy Saber Lance", a dedicated weapon that appeared only in the settings but not in the show.
By adding Hawk Saber, they can combine into the centaur-shaped combined form "Pegasus Saber", standing approximately 28 cm tall and measuring approximately 27 cm long. Its four articulated legs allow for dynamic posing, and it comes with its dedicated weapon, the "Holy Saber Arrow". This allows for recreating the powerful bow-drawing pose during its special move, or using original toy parts to store the bow and arrow on its back.
