GASHAPON "Sanrio Characters ~ Flapjack Octopus Transformation ~ Marker Charms" Gashapon, After Oysters, This Time Transforming into Deep-Sea Octopuses!

Bandai's GASHAPON capsule toy division in Japan has once again announced a very interesting new Sanrio Characters themed product—the 「Sanrio Characters ~ Flapjack Octopus Transformation ~ Marker Charms」 Gashapon. The suggested retail price is 300 JPY per capsule, and it is expected to be released in the first week of April 2025!

The Marker Charms series features a rubber ring attached to the charm, allowing it to be placed on items like umbrellas or water bottles for identification, so you won't mistake them for others! Following the previously bewildering 「Sanrio Characters ~ Oyster Transformation ~ Marker Charms」 which featured characters in oyster shapes, this time the Sanrio Characters will transform into the popular deep-sea creature known as the 「Flapjack Octopus」, commonly called the "eared octopus." The small octopus fins have become the characters' ears. The collection includes Hello Kitty, Pompompurin, My Melody, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll, and Pochacco, for a total of six types. Each charm uses a clear colored material to create a translucent effect. The combination of the characters with the small octopus shape is both absurd and adorable, and hanging them on an umbrella or water bottle is sure to spark interesting conversations!
