American toy brand Sideshow Collectibles, inspired by Marvel Studios' recent livestream, has unveiled a new themed product – the "Actor Announcement Chair Replica." The suggested retail price is US$31, and it will be available for a limited 24-hour pre-order on April 1, 2025!
On March 26, 2025, at 11:30 PM, Marvel Studios launched a five-and-a-half-hour livestream on its official YouTube channel. In a unique format, it filmed actors' on-set chairs to announce the cast list of over 20 individuals for the next phase's crucial film – "Avengers: Endgame." The announcement immediately caused a huge stir among fans! Sideshow officially revealed the "Actor Announcement Chair Replica" product's one-day limited pre-order information on April 1st, April Fool's Day, as an April Fool's joke. It recreates the chair's design in 1/6 scale, partly poking fun at the "Endgame" cast announcement livestream from a few days prior, and partly echoing the nature of April Fool's Day.
