Bandai's GASHAPON capsule toy division is launching a new product based on the popular anime "Crayon Shin-chan" – the "Crayon Shin-chan Shushu Popo Train Game" (tentative translation) Gashapon capsule toy. The suggested retail price is 400 JPY per turn, and it is expected to be released in the fourth week of April 2025!
This "Crayon Shin-chan Shushu Popo Train Game" recreates the scene of Shin-chan and his friends playing train with a rope in the Futaba Kindergarten plaza. It features all five members of the Kasukabe Defense Force – Shin-chan, Kazama, Masao, Boo, and Nene – in five different designs. They are dressed in their blue casual outfits from Futaba Kindergarten, and the pink string in their hands can be detached and connected with other characters to form a line, just like a train! Each character has poses or styles that match their personality and their position in the train, whether it's Shin-chan as the train conductor, Boo as the locomotive, Masao stumbling around, Nene laughing joyfully, or Kazama with his grumpy face – they are all super cute!
