Published by Japan's CAPCOM company, the "CAPCOM FIGURE BUILDER Creator's Model" statue series, a collaboration with renowned monster sculptors for "Monster Hunter", has announced its latest product from "Monster Hunter Wilds": "Arkveld", with a suggested retail price of 22,000 JPY, scheduled for pre-sale on the official eCapcom online store in September 2025!
The flagship monster of "Monster Hunter Wilds"—the Arkveld, referred to as the "White Solitary Shadow" by the investigation team—is a Wyvern species believed to be extinct. This monster is characterized by its unique chain-like wings, and its ecology is shrouded in mystery. Several years ago, it was suspected to have appeared in the borderlands of the "Forbidden Lands," an area never before investigated by the Guild. Consequently, the Guild formed an investigation team composed of hunters to rescue the attacked Guardian tribe.
The "CAPCOM FIGURE BUILDER Creator's Model Arkveld" faithfully recreates the mysterious White Solitary Shadow from the game, restoring its robust physique and body covered in silvery-white carapace. The lightning chain sculptures swinging from its arms are both exquisite and vivid, while characteristic details such as the white fur on its wing membranes and the sharp teeth filling its mouth are meticulously sculpted. The overall paint application features a mysterious silver-gray hue (at first glance, one might even mistake it for a gray prototype...!). The cocoon-like base depicts Arkveld attempting to escape from within, evoking scenes from the game and further enriching the work's worldview.
