The plastic model kit series "MODEROID", launched by the Japanese brand MECHA SMILE, has announced the release of the protagonist mecha "ORDIAN" from the robot anime "Gear Fighter ORDIAN", scheduled for January 2026.

The robot anime "Gear Fighter ORDIAN", which aired in 2000, had renowned animator Masami Obari as its director and original creator. In the latter half of the series, the giant weapon ORDIAN, which held the secret of protagonist Yu Kanzaki's origins and was key to regeneration technology and Ragnarok, was also designed by Masami Obari. Approximately 25 years after the anime concluded, it is finally being brought to life as a plastic model kit.

The "MODEROID ORDIAN" utilizes multi-color molded parts, pre-painted parts, and stickers for assembly. Standing approximately 18 cm tall upon completion, it faithfully reproduces its cool physique and proportions, uniquely designed armor, and the green clear parts on its chest, shoulders, and other areas. The head can recreate three different forms—"Cyclops," "Twin Eyes," and "Cyclops Mask"—by swapping parts.

Accessories not only include the two Rimshugen units, "Dragon Fang" and "Semsem," in the same scale, but also the impressive dedicated weapons "Gungnir" and "Lancer Device." Gungnir can recreate two forms, "Spear" and "Particle Cannon," by swapping parts, along with the cable connecting it to the arm. When combined with the "Lancer Device," it completes the ultimate weapon that uses humans as ammunition, the "Gungnir Lancer."
