Japanese model manufacturer Max Factory's popular articulated figure series "figma", following "Okarun (Transformed State)", is once again releasing the latest product from the super popular anime "Dandadan" theme, "figma Momo". The suggested retail price is 13,800 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in November 2025!
The trending work "Dandadan", serialized on Shueisha's "Shonen Jump+", is set in a modern world full of occult and supernatural elements. It tells the story of Momo Ayase, a gyaru high school student who doesn't believe in aliens but insists on the existence of ghosts, and the male protagonist Ken Takakura, who firmly believes in aliens but doesn't think ghosts exist. To prove their own beliefs are correct, the two embark on a "ghost/alien hunting competition" at a spiritual hotspot. As a result, Momo Ayase was almost abducted by aliens – the Serpoians, while Ken Takakura was cursed by the Turbo Granny... Thus began their bizarre, youthful, and battling supernatural life!
The "figma Momo" articulated figure stands approximately 14 cm tall, recreating Momo's iconic uniform style. The biggest highlight is the use of fabric to reproduce Momo's characteristic pink sweater and ultra-short pleated skirt! In addition to showcasing a loose and cute fashion style, it also makes poses more lively and realistic. Three interchangeable face parts are included: a confident smiling "normal face", a charming squinting "smiling face", and a determined gritting-teeth "combat face". Paired with a "school bag", green "psychic effect parts" for her large hands, and a "smartphone", you can enjoy recreating scenes from the series!
