Bandai Co., Ltd. Japan, a popular manufacturer of Tokusatsu and Kaiju-themed soft vinyl toys, has announced the latest product from its "MOVIE MONSTER" series, "Godzilla (2003) with Kamoebas (2003)", based on the film "Godzilla: Tokyo SOS" (Godzilla x Mothra x Mechagodzilla: Tokyo SOS), slated for release in September 2025.

After taking the Type-3 Kiryu's "Absolute Zero Cannon" in the previous film, Godzilla (2003) lay dormant in the Central Pacific for a year. Just before Godzilla was about to reappear, the corpse of the giant kaiju "Kamoebas (2003)" washed ashore on Kujukuri Beach in Chiba Prefecture, Japan. Kamoebas's neck showed signs of being slashed by massive claws while alive, presumed to have been attacked by Godzilla. However, their battle scene was not depicted in the film, making Kamoebas, who reappeared after 34 years, an easily forgotten corpse character.

The "MOVIE MONSTER Godzilla (2003) with Kamoebas (2003)" set simultaneously includes these two kaiju from the film whose battle scene was not shown; however, Kamoebas is still sculpted in its corpse form. The Godzilla figure itself is modified from the previously released "Godzilla (2002)", utilizing new parts to recreate its fierce, glaring expression with a closed mouth, and the scar on its chest from being hit by the Absolute Zero Cannon.

Kamoebas (2003), on the other hand, faithfully recreates its corpse form lying on the beach from the film using 3D modeling technology, meticulously crafted with its complex shell shape, rough skin textures, and the fatal claw marks on its neck. It can be displayed together with the Godzilla (2003) figure, realizing a "crime scene" that was not seen in the film.
