DIS Co., Ltd. (ディーアイエス) Japan's Gashapon Toy Division has announced a new product themed around Japanese Bōsōzoku culture—the "Mini Tokkōfuku" gashapon. The suggested retail price is 500 JPY per capsule, with an anticipated release in May 2025!

Bōsōzoku culture originated in Hiroshima, where post-war youths, angered by the social climate, loudly expressed their patriotism and dissatisfaction on the streets with customized motorcycles, eventually developing a unique culture. Besides their incredibly flashy motorcycles, what's most impressive is definitely the Tokkōfuku, inspired by WWII Kamikaze Special Attack Units, printed with various interesting texts! This time, the Mini Tokkōfuku are made to a size that 1/12 scale action figures can wear, featuring five styles in total: Kenkajōtō (Ready for a Fight!), A-i-ra-bu-yu (I Love You), Jōshō Mutei (Ever-Victorious, Invincible), Bōsō Tenshi (Runaway Angel), and Tenka Muteki (Invincible Under Heaven). The tailoring at this small scale faithfully reproduces the Tokkōfuku's shape, and the printing accurately recreates the various rank names within the group or common borrowed words/phrases on the back and shoulders. Each style also comes with a corresponding waist tie in red, black, or white. When worn by action figures, they'll undoubtedly look incredibly stylish with a rebellious flair!
