As the 2025 Star Wars Celebration officially commenced today (18th) at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan, Danish toy company LEGO also unveiled its latest Star Wars-themed product, set number 75434, the "K-2SO" brick-built droid model! It is scheduled for release on August 1, 2025, with a suggested retail price of US$89.99.
The droid character K-2SO, who first appeared in "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story," was originally a KX-series Security Droid produced by the Galactic Empire; but after being reprogrammed by Rebel Alliance intelligence officer "Cassian Andor," K-2SO not only became Andor's excellent partner but also quite a sarcastic and talkative one.
