The popular tokusatsu and monster-themed soft vinyl toy series 『MOVIE MONSTER』, released by Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., has announced the latest product from the movie Godzilla vs. Destoroyah, "Burning Godzilla (1995) ver.2.0", scheduled for release in May 2025.

In the film, due to a violent nuclear fission reaction caused by high-purity natural uranium in the Earth's strata, Godzilla's home, Birth Island, instantly vanished. Godzilla's nuclear energy became abnormally active due to an unusual homing instinct, causing his body temperature to continuously rise like a massive nuclear weapon. His scorching skin took on a super-high-temperature "Burning" state, and even the power of his radioactive heat ray became stronger. However, his body temperature was approaching the critical meltdown temperature of 1200℃, bringing him to the brink of death.

Released to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Godzilla vs. Destoroyah, the "MOVIE MONSTER Burning Godzilla (1995) ver.2.0" features a completely new sculpt. Compared to the previous version released in 2017, the detailed sculpting and body proportions have been re-adjusted. It also features a more layered red paint application to represent the scorching skin, aiming for an appearance closer to the suit seen in the film.
