Hideo Kojima's highly anticipated sequel, "Death Stranding 2: On The Beach," is once again making waves with a fresh announcement: super popular VTuber Usada Pekora from hololive production is joining the cast, stepping into the role of a "Prepper" in the game.
According to Kojima Productions' official social channels, Usada Pekora will appear in the game world as a cameo character, taking on the role of a mysterious Prepper. Players will get the chance to interact with her and receive missions. While specific details about her role are still under wraps, the official announcement playfully teases players to "find out for yourselves once the game launches!"
This crossover collaboration with hololive not only highlights Hideo Kojima's keen interest in VTuber culture but also further underscores the "Death Stranding" series' unique flair for blending diverse media and real-world culture.

"Death Stranding 2: On The Beach" is slated to launch on PlayStation 5 on June 26, 2025.
