If you're into Gunpla, you know the drill: painting, cutting, weathering – it's all about making your kit uniquely yours. But sometimes, you gotta mash up themes to unleash some truly wild creativity.
Case in point: X user Kumadai (@oqPpSH1ZhXLW4zA) recently blew up the internet with their latest creation. Taking inspiration from Bandai's new "HG 1/144 Red Gundam" from Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX, Kumadai cooked up a custom Gunpla that mashes it with the super popular IP, "Chiikawa," specifically featuring "Kurimanju." The result? An absolutely adorable and distinctive build that's got everyone buzzing!

Peep the details: it's clearly a repainted and modified RX-78-2 First Gundam Gunpla, but with a bear-like face to perfectly match Kurimanju's vibe. The real kicker? It comes with two mini Kurimanju figures, each clutching a tiny liquor bottle – a hilarious nod to the Red Gundam's drone weapons!

Check it out: the beam rifle has been hilariously swapped for a giant liquor bottle, and those two Kurimanju can even fly out to attack! Seriously, it's cuteness overload!!!

And get this: the First Gundam's iconic beam saber? It's been transformed into a massive, dried salmon-shaped blade, perfectly fitting the Kurimanju theme.

Naturally, for a Kurimanju-themed mobile suit, you gotta have scenes of epic feasting and drinking!

Kumadai mentioned that this build was actually a happy accident, but they're thrilled with the positive reception and plan to try even more wild combinations in the future.

Feeling inspired? Why not grab some of your own Gunpla parts and see what kind of hilarious creations you can cook up? You might just surprise yourself!
