Bushiroad Creative, the anime and manga merchandise distributor under Bushiroad Inc. (BR Co.), has launched its "PalVerse" brand. In addition to "PalVerse Haikyuu!! vol.2", they have also unveiled two new "PalVerse Palé" series products featuring "Haikyuu!!" characters combined with paint palettes. These are character figures of "Shoyo Hinata" and "Tobio Kageyama", each priced at 3,300 JPY and scheduled for release on November 28, 2025!
"Haikyuu!!" is a volleyball-themed anime and manga series originally created by Japanese manga artist Haruichi Furudate and adapted by Japanese animation studio Production I.G. The story follows Shoyo Hinata, a protagonist with a small stature but immense passion for volleyball. After joining the Karasuno High School volleyball team, once a powerhouse, he and his teammates overcome challenges, taking on one strong school after another as they aim for the national championship.
This PalVerse Palé "Haikyuu!!" release features the "monster duo," Shoyo Hinata and Tobio Kageyama. Standing approximately 10 cm and 10.5 cm tall respectively, both characters are rendered in the PalVerse-style three-head-tall proportion. Despite their compact forms, their characteristic features are meticulously sculpted. The patterns of the Karasuno uniform are faithfully reproduced through printing. Hinata is depicted in a pose ready to run and jump, while Kageyama is shown wiping sweat while holding the ball. Continuing the Palé series' paint theme, the bases are designed as oil paint palettes, with paint in each character's corresponding signature color on the side. Displaying them side-by-side is incredibly adorable!
