Recently, a Japanese middle schooler and Gunpla enthusiast, Weak Hiro P (@Reine_gunpra), blew minds on X by showcasing his incredible custom build: the "Strike Freedom Gundam Type II" from the latter half of Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM. He didn't just build it; he shared a year-long journey of refining his creation, leaving netizens absolutely stunned by his progress at such a young age.
While Bandai has released "Strike Freedom Gundam Type II" figures in their METAL ROBOT SPIRITS and GUNDAM UNIVERSE lines, a proper Gunpla kit (HG, RG, or MG) has yet to materialize. So, Weak Hiro P got creative. He used the commercially available "HG Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam" as a base, combined it with backpack parts from an "RG Strike Freedom Gundam," and painstakingly customized it to match the Type II's in-anime appearance.
