The Pokémon Company announced on October 29, 2026, that it is giving away a free Spewpa via Mystery Gift to celebrate the launch of the complete Pokémon Legends Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Mega Dimension bundle. Players of both Pokémon Legends Z-A and the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition can claim the Pokémon until November 18, 2026, at 5:59 p.m. PST.
Spewpa, the Bug-type Scatterdust Pokémon, evolves into Vivillon at Lv. 12. Vivillon is best known for its wing patterns, which vary according to the climate and environment of its birthplace. Twenty patterns have been documented in the Pokédex, including three found in Lumiose City: the Meadow Pattern, Marine Pattern, and Garden Pattern. There is also one special variant, the Poké Ball Pattern. The Spewpa distributed through this campaign will randomly evolve into one of the other 16 patterns, giving players a chance to add a different look to their collection.
Players simply need to open Mystery Gift in the game and select Get via Internet—no serial code required. Both physical and digital versions of the two editions are eligible, with one redemption allowed per save data file. The console’s user profile must be linked to a Nintendo Account and connected to the internet, but a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership is not required. Mystery Gift becomes available after approximately one hour of gameplay.
The official “Vivillon Challenge!” campaign is also underway. If players worldwide collectively earn 660,000 Vivillon Points, they will be able to receive a special Poké Ball Pattern Vivillon. Distribution details will be announced at a later date.
