CAPCOM announced on October 29 that life-size statues of Monster Hunter icons Rathalos and Lagiacrus will be installed at MITSUI OUTLET PARK FUKUOKA MARINOA, which is scheduled to open in April 2027.
The exact dimensions have yet to be revealed, but the statues are confirmed to feature special lighting and other effects for visitors to enjoy. Given their full-scale billing, they are poised to become a must-see landmark for Monster Hunter fans.

Construction on MITSUI OUTLET PARK FUKUOKA MARINOA was announced in 2025. Set to become the outlet mall with the largest number of stores in Kyushu, the complex is expected to feature around 200 retailers, ranging from international brands and specialty boutiques to sports, outdoor, and children’s stores, plus a dedicated dining area.

The newly released concept render shows the imposing forms of Rathalos, the King of the Skies, and Lagiacrus, the Lord of the Seas. Lighting, sound, mist, and other effects are also planned, giving visitors an up-close encounter with the overwhelming presence of these colossal monsters.

MITSUI OUTLET PARK FUKUOKA MARINOA is scheduled to open in April 2027, and the statues are sure to draw plenty of Monster Hunter fans to the site. For now, all eyes are on CAPCOM for a first look at the finished installations.
