The animated film "Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway," which premiered in Japan on June 11, 2021, raked in a whopping 2.23 billion yen at the box office, making it the fourth highest-grossing Gundam film of all time. But here's the kicker: "Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway" is actually just the first installment of a planned trilogy. Now, four years after the first film's release, fans have been left in the dark about any follow-up.
