Then, out of nowhere, yesterday evening (6/26), the official announcement dropped like a bombshell! The sequel is officially titled "Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: Circe's Witch" (閃光のハサウェイ キルケーの魔女) and is set to premiere this winter! Alongside the big reveal, the first teaser trailer and a slew of new stills were released, instantly making it a trending topic on X.

The first "Hathaway" film, which premiered in Japan in June 2021, garnered immense praise for its stunning visuals, Hathaway's compelling human struggles, and an incredibly immersive storyline. Voice actor Kensho Ono will reprise his role as protagonist Hathaway, with director Shukou Murase once again leading the production team, promising to deliver an explosive new chapter that's sure to exceed all expectations.
